Introduction
Grounded in the design philosophy of 'robot technology enhancing power safety,' this approach addresses critical industry pain points and effectively mitigates the challenges associated with high-altitude fall prevention during tower climbing. By preserving existing work habits, it offers comprehensive anti-fall protection throughout the entire process, autonomously responding to human movement intentions while facilitating efficient and safe installation and disassembly operations.
The landing power anti-fall device is deployed to the top of the tower via a UAV, which transports the fixed bracket and security rope for landing protection. An innovative gravity self-locking mechanical mechanism facilitates the rapid installation and removal of the fixed bracket at the tower's summit, aided by real-time video transmission. The wearable device for power climbing towers can discern movement intentions during ascent, actively providing lumbar support to counterbalance part of the climber's weight, while also offering fall-buffer assistance during descent. This reduces energy expenditure for personnel, mitigates safety risks associated with physical strain, and ensures easier access to power towers.
